Under a new promotions team, the USC wanted to attack promoting campus events in a new way. Working with a team highly experienced in agency work and loaded with professional technical skills, this years promotions team marked a turning point in the councils marketing strategy. Instead of relying on posters and campus media outlets to advertise events such as concerts, bar nights, beer-fests, and contests, the USC itself was tasked with creating original content. I worked with the marketing director and intern to contribute to the council’s instagram page, participate in snapchat takeovers, and produce video content. Here are just two of the several videos created to serve as an example of the kind of work done.
